Restorative Aide
McNaughten Pointe, a skilled rehabilitation and long-term care facility located in Columbus, Ohio is currently seeking an energetic and compassionate Restorative Aide/STNA to assist with daily therapy operations. Quality resident care and overall job performance are a priority for this position. The ideal candidate will strive to excel at restorative programming procedures and philosophies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the direction of the Restorative Care Plan is followed per the assigned resident(s) and carrying out interventions as written.
- Ensuring timely documentation of all relevant findings related to the Restorative Care Plan and directing resident care per facility policy.
- Ensuring the applicable Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process is followed in accordance to State and Federal Guidelines.
- Ensuring timely notification of resident related information, including changes in resident condition (example: weight loss, skin condition changes), to a licensed nurse and the Therapy Director for further direction.
- Successfully assisting assigned residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s), including but not limited to feeding, bathing, dressing, transferring, ambulation, locomotion, personal hygiene, and toileting.
- Assisting the facility in maintaining the cleanliness of the therapy gym and therapy equipment.
- Following Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
- Performing other related duties as directed by Therapy Director and/or person of authority.
