Columbus Kickball Tournament - Skilled Nursing Style

Serving our residents with the utmost care and respect is a priority for all of us at McNaughten Pointe, but our care doesn't end there. We want this level of love to flow into our community as we connect with local seniors, families, and even surrounding nursing homes. Our sister facilities in Columbus, Ohio, came together for a friendly kickball tournament! Better yet, the money that was raised at the tournament went directly to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s at the resolute athletic complex.




It was great to reconnect with our sister facilities and see some familiar faces. The tournament also served as a great team-building experience, as we all felt closer and stronger as a team afterward. We finished the night off with Donatos pizza and already started planning our next event together for the fall or winter. We are proud to announce that we raised over 500 dollars for the charity!

The winner of the first annual kickball tournament was Country View of Sunbury! The Landings of Westerville came in at a close second, Johnstown Pointe came in third place, Darby Glenn and McNaughten Pointe came in fourth place and Capri Gardens came in last place. We want to thank each facility for bringing your all and for participating!

A big shoutout goes to Madison from Johnstown Pointe and Hanna from Darby Glenn for planning and organizing this wonderful event. There were plenty of laughs and good plays, and best of all, we all did it for a good cause. Until next time, Colombus!
