Nursing Home Week at McNaughten Pointe

McNaughten Pointe spent last week celebrating National Nursing Home Week. This is a very special time of year for all nursing homes with this year’s theme, “Creating and Nurturing Connections.” While our team is always creating connections with new residents and their families, we treasure the opportunities we get to nurture those connections.

To celebrate, we had a fun-filled week starting on Monday with a scavenger hunt. Then, on Tuesday, we played "Who's Who," where we had a trivia portion and a picture portion. Next, we had Game On Wednesday with multiple puzzles, and on Thursday we had a Call Light Relay. To top it off, on Friday, we had a tally and raffle!

Our spirit week themes and complimentary snacks were:
Monday- Emoji Monday with a Trail Mix Bar
Tuesday- Team Tuesday with breakfast provided
Wednesday- Wacky Wednesday with Tacos to go
Thursday- Pajama Jam Party with a surprise DJ and a Cookout
Friday- Funky Friday 70's flow with an Ice cream Social



McNaughten Pointe couldn’t be successful without our wonderful staff, and we had so much fun recognizing their hard work and dedication to our residents. Every day, we try to live by appreciating each and every person on the team, and it made our hearts full to put together a fun week for them.
